SSLO does not operate as an anonymous political website. Our founder, editors and volunteers are identified wherever appropriate, while contributors may receive protection when legitimate safety concerns require it.

SSLO was established to create a public-interest space where citizens can follow institutions, examine policy choices, document concerns and participate constructively without turning accountability into partisan abuse.

Contributor safety: public profiles should be the default for organisational accountability, but SSLO should retain a documented policy for withholding a contributor’s identity when publication could create a credible safety risk.
